Please join us in celebrating Jacques Cousteau’s 100th anniversary with two panel discussions featuring members of the Calypso, visionary scientists, and leading experts.

  • The Future of the Oceans: We all know our oceans are deteriorating and they need to be cared for. As Jacques Cousteau famously said, “People protect what they love.” A focused discussion on the issues our oceans face will be led by explorer and National Geographic filmmaker Jon Bowermaster. Panelists will include conservationist, author, founder of Blue Ocean Institute, and PEW Scholar Award winner Dr Carl Safina.

  • Stories from Jacques Cousteau Expeditions: A narrative journey behind the scenes and into the world of Jacques Cousteau heard through the stories of some of the people who shared his life’s work with him. Anne-Marie Cousteau, expedition photographer and daughter-in-law of Jacques Cousteau; Marc Blessington, 15 years of diving with the Cousteau team.
