Corey Park is the Communications and Research Manager to the President and CEO at the World Resources Institute. He works closely with the President and CEO on research, communication, and institutional operations to promote maximum, real-world impact to address seven urgent sustainability challenges: food, forests, water, climate, energy, cities, and the ocean. He was formerly the Research and Engagement Associate to the Executive Vice President and Managing Director.

Prior to joining WRI, Corey was a research intern for the Energy & Climate Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He researched and provided policy analysis on the nexus of climate change, air quality, and public health. As well, he assisted development of the Program’s nascent work on the environmental impacts of autonomous vehicles. Corey also interned for the Natural Resources Defense Council, evaluating the human health effects attributable to extreme heat and heat waves.

Corey holds a B.A. in Biology from Colby College and an MPH in Environmental Health Sciences from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. He lives in Denver, Colorado with his husband Chase, but enjoys returning home to cross country ski in the Great State of Maine, where he formerly competed for an NCAA Division I program.
