Emily Neagle is Senior Manager for the Corporate Consultative Group (CCG), Corporate Relations, and Communications at WRI. She has worked at the intersection of corporate sustainability and environmental NGOs for nearly a decade. She has a depth of experience with sectors such as industrial manufacturing, retail, food and beverage, finance, hospitality, venues, commercial real estate, commercial construction, and she is an expert in WRI’s tools for business and science-based standards for business ambition.

In her management of the CCG, she is a strategic collaborator on corporate sustainability strategies and applies her knowledge to drive sustainable business outcomes. An engagement expert, Emily was a founding co-chair of WRI’s Engagement Community of Practice, and in her day-to-day work, she engages companies as impact partners in support of WRI’s mission. Emily brings a track record of success to WRI. While working at the US Green Building Council, she grew her program of sector-based, corporate stakeholder groups fivefold.

Emily is a trained meeting facilitator and event designer who has led hundreds of teleconferences, conference presentations, and live stakeholder events. She is the creative mind behind WRI’s MindShare, events designed for professionals focused on finding innovative, sustainable business solutions. These events bring together CCG members and WRI experts on challenges, opportunities, and insights through precompetitive discussions that focus on solutions to the thorniest issues in sustainable business.

Emily also manages communications for the Center for Sustainable Business.

Emily has a BA in Psychology and an MA in Environmental Resource Policy, both from the George Washington University. A longtime DC resident, Emily enjoys the area's parks, museums, supporting local business, and watching the city evolve. With the addition of so many bike lanes throughout the city, one of Emily’s hobbies is biking around the city to find street art and murals. Emily is also a 500-hour certified yoga instructor.
